PenaltyCharges has been set up to provide all the help, support and legal advice you will need to claim back your bank charges. All the advice on this site is given for FREE.

Our aim is to make you aware of your rights as a consumer, enabling you to fight back against unlawful bank, credit and store card charges. In the website you will find lists of the worst offending companies who implement penalty charges, along with information on how you could get your money back, just like the people mentioned in the success stories section. Please do take the time to read this section, because if you do follow our advice and join the forum, you too could be adding your story to this section.

The Forum
The Penalty Charges Forum is run by a number of volunteers and I (Stephen Hone), who, as you have, first came to this site to reclaim their charges. These people have volunteered their time to help and support members, old and new, through their claims. You will see them on the forums as Moderators. Don’t worry, you will soon get to know them and will be surprised how friendly and helpful they are. It is because of them that PenaltyCharges has become known as the site with the personal touch.
